Estelle Teague was a long-time activist and leader in the Tarrant County Republican Party, a TFRW board member, and a mentor to many. She founded Tarrant Star Republican Women (TSRW) in 2008 to improve local Republican women’s club representation of House District 92, Hurst-Euless-Bedford.

TSRW was certified by TFRW in 2009.

TSRW club members in good standing are automatically members of TFRW and NFRW.

As stated in our by-laws, our objectives are:

  • To work for the election of the Republican Party’s nominees;
  • To promote an informed electorate through political education;
  • To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation;
  • To facilitate cooperation among local Republican Women’s clubs; and
  • To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles and candidates in all elections, including non-partisan elections.

Individual recognition and appreciation for the hard work of being a Republican activist is readily awarded or noted in many ways by TFRW and NFRW throughout the year.

NFRW and TFRW present, at bi-annual state and national conventions, reward recognition to clubs who achieve goals set by both organizations.
